These measurements typically include two numbers, with the first referring to how long plants are exposed to light; with the second references how long plants rest in the dark.

For example, an 17/7 cycle means that plants are exposed to light for 17 hours a day and 7 hours resting in the dark. These photoperiod cannabis seeds continue to vegetate and grow until flowering, with plant sizes often much bigger than other strain types; sometimes resulting in much higher yields than their counterparts.

Furthermore, these strains often result in hardier plants than others. This is due to the fact that they can grow for longer periods and also into larger plants.
